Zodiac Cocktail Roundup

Zodiac Cocktail Roundup

Last Wednesday we came to the end of our Zodiac Cocktail series and I have to admit that I’m so sorry it’s over! It was great fun being able to learn more about each of the signs and thinking through the process of developing a cocktail for each of them. Today’s post is a bit of a recap on how each of the horoscope posts did. The overwhelming favorite appears to have been Pisces, which garnered the largest number of likes on Instagram and the most comments. The name “Bring Water” for Aquarius, was definitely the one most people liked, although for me it was “Seeing Red” for Aries. I think the most dramatic photo award goes to Scorpio’s “Some Like It Hot” when I spent an hour on the floor trying to capture the light in just the perfect way. Pisces and Aquarius were happy with their descriptions, Libra even more so, but Taurus was definitely the most satisfied with how I described them. The Capricorns had the most to say about how wrong I was, which lead me to actually do some moon and rising sign calculations for some of them. For those of you who don’t know, your moon sign is astrological position the moon was in when you were born. It represents the inner you, so it’s often more the way you see yourself than your sun sign. Your rising sign, also called your ascendant, is the sign that was rising on the horizon at the exact time you were born. It has to do with your outward appearance and personality, and can be thought of as the version of you that you present to the world. Calculating these two parts of your chart can help you to gain a more complete picture of who you are, especially if you tend to disagree with what your sun sign indicates. There are lots of calculators available online if you Google them. Thanks for all your readership, interest, and engagement for this particular series! I’ll leave you with a link below for each cocktail.
